Greetings on June 25, 2013.

In my personal blogs I am reviewing some articles about teaching English to children, especially by music. My English courses are usually for students ages eleven (11) and older. However, sometimes I get younger students or visitors. The insights and practical materials about English and music in the blog articles may help me a lot with these younger students. I especially like the book on nursery rhymes. I may try to use some of them.

I am also reading some blog articles on changes in the English language. I always run into a simpler kind of word usage with my students. My old favorite word "dialogue" is now, more often than not, written as "dialog." I used to go "travelling", but now it seems like everyone goes "traveling." I should not complain too much about these more recent changes; my generation also changed some of the the previous generation's words.

I shall keep you up to date on my personal teaching of English and related things. How are you doing with your use and teaching of English?
